Re:Now is a sustainability consultancy led by Hugh St Aubyn (MBA, PISEP), which builds on many years' experience working across sectors, and as Sustainability Manager at St Aubyn Estates, gaining multifaceted insight and expertise.
Hugh started his career training as a psychologist and psychotherapist in London, and working in the charity space. During that time, he also started to get involved in the family business — St Aubyn Estates, in West Cornwall, which includes the management of St Michael’s Mount, heritage, hospitality, property management and farming.
He went on to study for an MBA at Exeter University, and it was here he first became drawn into sustainability, through engaging with business from a psychological perspective — asking: ‘what’s being missed here?’ By looking at what isn’t visible, or accounted for, by traditional business models, he started to see everything differently — and returned to Cornwall, where he’s been working as a sustainability consultant and leading on environmental change at St Aubyn Estates.
Hugh’s background and experience has informed Re:Now’s distinctive process, which balances a supportive, people-focused approach with analytical and strategic expertise.
